The Now

THE NOW are a four piece band from South Wales who, although only started playing together in 2018, have already started making an impact on their local scene with their big, highly infectious, guitar heavy tracks.  The average age of the band is 24, with their cutting edge look and feel falling in line with their sound being cool, current and highly charged! THE NOW have been playing together after meeting at a local jam night. After taking time to find the sound right for them, they decided to form THE NOW. With notable stage presence being of something special and full of energy, their self written songs deliver a huge punch to the head with superb lyrics that stay in your head for days; all poetically written by enigmatic frontman Shane. Musically THE NOW channel taught riffs and slick production of post Britpop stadium rockers with a distinctly mainstream, ‘classic’ rock open live sound.  

THE NOW are determined to stand alone with a unique sound. Their music and lyrics that need to be heard and it’s the band’s mission to spread their name and music across the UK and beyond.  THE NOW have already worked with legendary producers like grammy award winning producer Jason Perry (McFly, Busted, Don Broco, The Blackout), Adam Noble (Coldplay, Biffy Clyro, Liam Gallagher) and Richard Jackson (The Automatic, Super Furry Animals and Duffy). Notably, the band’s  previous single ‘Dr Jones’ managed to kick-start their rise to success through being featured on BBC Radio 2 - The Rock Show with Johnnie Walker as well as numerous plays on Planet Rock with Wyatt Wendels featuring the track on his ‘New Rock Show’.
