Huw and The Greater Good
Assembled between Manchester and Leeds, alternative/indie/folk group Huw and The Greater Good present their new single ‘Old Fashioned Ways’ set for release on 15th July 2022 via Singing Light Music. Radio focus/Impact date is slated for 29th July 2022.
Entering the music scene in 2020, Huw and The Greater Good bonded over the mutual love for classic and contemporary bands including Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Cage The Elephant, The Waterboy’s and The War On Drugs. Creating songs of self-discovery, triumph and heartache, HATGG deliver nonstop, heart-on-sleeve and profoundly soulful moments to their fanbase and beyond. In the short time they have been together they’ve stolen the hearts of audiences from the stages of Tramlines Festival, Greenbelt, Beautiful Days, Head For The Hills and in support of The Big Moon, Will and The People and Tom Odell, to name a few. They have achieved continued radio support from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and BBC Radio Wales - the next 24 months are set to be huge - and all for the Greater Good.
‘Old Fashioned Ways’ is the follow up single to the previous single ‘Flight’ released earlier this year after the band took a two year break from releasing new music. Set to take the band to their new level this year, the new single is described as for those who feel “Left heartbroken and alone in your one bed flat by the person you thought you’d spend the rest of your life with. What do you do next? Probably drink through the pain and heal in the ‘Old Fashioned Way’. Crashing elements of americana, folk and indie together, Huw and the Greater Goods new single follows the initial moments of a break up, the shock and the downward spiral that follows. “
